California Standard Bail Bond 10% Premium Rate

Blondies Bail Bonds is a licensed agency appointed by the California Department of Insurance to transact bail in this state. The Standard Bail Bond Premium Rate is 10%. All agencies in the State of California are required by state law to charge a premium rate filed with the Department of Insurance plus any additional fees required, and the premium is non-refundable once the defendant is released from custody.

YOUR RIGHT TO BAIL

California State Law Provides for Bail

Penal Code Section 1268 allows for bail in the State of California. The law reads as follows: 

                “Admission to bail is the order of a competent Court or magistrate that the defendant be discharged from actual custody upon bail.”

A Bail Bond allows a defendant to be released to the custody of the bondsman in lieu of remaining in custody through the duration of his or her trial.  Blondies Bail Bonds believes in upholding the right of each individual and will accomodate our conditions of release in order to meet the needs and goals of our clients.

Upon release from custody on a bail bond a premium is charged at the standard rate of 10%. Blondies is pleased to be able to offer its clients a reduced rate of 8% now approved by the California Department of Insurance.
